KGF Chapter 2: Shooting Of Yash And Sanjay Dutt’s Film Has Come To A Halt Following Court Orders
The upcoming film KGF Chapter 2 had created a lot of buzz and excitement amongst fans of the franchise. The excitement was further elevated when the first look poster of the character Adheera was revealed and confirmed the speculations that Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt will be playing the role. The film stars Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt and Saran Shakthi and is being directed by Prashanth Neel. The shooting for the film had already begun a month ago but has reportedly been stopped following court orders.

As per a report in The Week, a local resident alleged that the shooting of the movie was causing environmental damage at cyanide hills in Kolar Fields in Kolar district. Following this, the shooting of the film had to be halted due to an interim order by the second additional civil and JMFC court in Kolar Gold Fields.  The film was being shot at Cyanide hills, which is a famous shoot location due to its landscape. The hearing on this matter is scheduled for September 23.  




The first part of the movie was also directed by Prashanth Neel and was a hit at the worldwide box office with collections of over Rs 200 cr. This time, KGF 2 is said to be bigger and better, and apart from Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon will also be a part of the film. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur, the film features Yash in the lead role of Rocky Bhai and will narrate his journey as he turns into the king of a gold mine.
